Park Veterinary Centre in Watford is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for full‑ or part‑time hours to join our experienced team. You’ll provide high‑quality nursing care, assist surgeons, manage inpatient care, and contribute to the practice’s culture of learning and patient welfare.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS (RCVS registration).
• Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and support excellent client experiences.
• Collaborate with veterinary surgeons and the wider team on first opinion cases.
• Take responsibility for nursing care, inpatient management and monitoring.
• Assist in theatres and complex surgeries, including post‑op care.
• Manage pharmacy duties and run nurse clinics as needed.
