Job summary

Medivet Faygate 24 Hour is a welcoming RVN role in a countryside setting with free onsite parking, just outside Gatwick. You’ll join a supportive, close-knit team in a 24-hour hospital offering advanced clinical care and variety.

The practice currently has 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 6 Vets, 1 VCA and 5 CCAs, and welcomes both newly qualified and experienced RVNs who want to develop their skills. You’ll work 4 days a week with early and late shifts, on-call and weekend rota; facilities include CT,

Job description

If you’re looking for an RVN role where you’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team with access to the facilities of a 24-hour hospital, Medivet Faygate 24 Hour could be the perfect fit. Set in the countryside with free onsite parking and close to Gatwick Airport, we offer a great balance of advanced clinical care, variety and a friendly team environment.

You’ll join an established team of 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 6 Vets, 1 VCA and 5 CCAs. We’re open to both newly qualified and experienced RVNs, with a supportive team who are keen to help you develop your skills and confidence.

Our spacious, well-equipped practice includes 4 consult rooms, 2 theatres, CT, ultrasound, dental X-ray and a dedicated dental area, alongside separate imaging and laboratory areas. We also offer laser therapy, with plenty of space for the team to work and relax.

The role is 4 days a week, with a mixture of early shifts (7:30am–4pm) and late shifts (11am–7:30pm), plus 1 in 6 full weekends and a fair share of the on-call and bank holiday rota. And, for something you definitely won’t find at every practice, we even have three wallabies living at Faygate!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
