Job summary

Darlington Vets4Pets is seeking a warm, professional Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team. You will perform nursing duties and client care with a focus on animal welfare.

Role includes admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics and post‑op recovery, with support from ANAs and an SVN. This is a full‑time position involving a 40‑hour week and a 1 in 4 Saturday rota, 8am–12pm; we are closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Qualifications

• RVN qualification with current registration.
• Small animal nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform consults, monitoring and post‑op checks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nursing consults, admit and discharge patients.
• Monitor anaesthetics, assist during surgery and post‑op care.
• Support from ANAs and an SVN for theatre turnovers.
