Nurse Seekers are delighted to recruit on behalf of a well-established veterinary practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a friendly, experienced team. The role supports clinicians across consultations, surgery, diagnostics, and client care in a modern, patient‑focused environment.

You must be RCVS registered with small animal experience. The position offers a competitive salary (£28,000–£36,000), flexible hours, free onsite parking, staff discounts, sick pay and wellbeing

Qualifications

• RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Small animal practice experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Caring, compassionate approach towards patients and owners.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Veterinary Surgeons during consultations, surgical procedures, and diagnostics.
• Monitoring anaesthesia and peri-operative/post-operative patient care.
• Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments per instructions.
• Collecting and processing laboratory samples (blood, urine, faecal).
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring RCVS compliance.
• Providing preventative care advice to clients on nutrition and treatment plans.
• Maintaining high hygiene, infection control, and equipment sterilisation.
