Job summary

Vets for Pets in Solihull is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our busy, six and a half vet practice. You will be supported by nine RVNs, a SVN, a VCA and client care staff, with a wide range of challenging cases across species.

You will scrub into theatre, assist with anaesthesia, radiography and inpatient care, and have opportunities for CPD and career development. Minimum 24 hours per week, with 1 in 9 weekends, and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Confident veterinary nursing skills with patient care.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Effective team player and initiative.
• Interest in CPD and further qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver high-level care.
• Manage bookings professionally and efficiently using RX Works.
• Greet clients and pets, maintaining a professional image.
• Comply with policies and health and safety regulations.
• Calculate and administer medications and keep records.
• Assist the Veterinary Surgeon during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and record radiography results.
