Job summary

GV Careers Limited is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a friendly small animal practice in Hertfordshire. The role offers clinical autonomy and a good work-life balance, with opportunities to develop in theatre, anaesthesia, inpatient care and nurse consultations. Salary up to £30,000 DOE, permanent contract, and full or part-time hours.

No out-of-hours or Sundays. Includes a £1,000 welcome bonus, funded CPD, RCVS and VDS memberships, company pension and private healthcare

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with current registration.
• Experience across theatre, anaesthesia, inpatient care and nursing clinics preferred.
• Comfort with digital diagnostics and in-house lab work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across theatre, anaesthesia, inpatient care and nurse consultations.
• Contribute to high standards of patient care in a first-opinion practice.
• Support career progression with CPD and qualifications.
