This Veterinary Surgery is seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its small, friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will work alongside three vets, two nurses, a receptionist and an animal care assistant, becoming part of a tight‑knit practice that prides itself on excellent patient care. With a fully refurbished building—featuring two theatres, a modern dental suite with dental radiography, endoscopy, digital x‑ray, ultrasound and a patient lift—the practice provides a high‑quality environment in which an RVN can thrive.
This is a hands‑on and varied role, perfect for a nurse who enjoys being involved in all aspects of clinical work, from anaesthesia and inpatient care to dentistry, imaging and surgical support.

The RVN will play an active role in day‑to‑day clinical operations, contributing to smooth workflows and exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:
Alongside clinical duties, the RVN will help maintain the smooth running of the practice. This includes ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of clinical areas, participating in stock control and occasionally supporting reception by offering nurse‑level advice and reassurance to clients. Following health and safety protocols—such as radiation safety, infection control and anaesthetic procedures—forms a key part of the role.
The RVN will work closely with the wider team, contributing to a positive practice culture and strong internal communication. They will also play an essential role in client care by offering clear, compassionate guidance on treatment plans, post‑operative care and preventative healthcare strategies.
