Job summary

The Vet Office in Richmond upon Thames, Greater London, is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy 24-hour emergency and referral hospital. The role offers variety across wards, theatre and emergency cases, with opportunities to develop clinical and professional skills within a supportive team.

We seek an RVN registered with the RCVS, capable of delivering high standards of patient and client care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered veterinary nurse with current registration.
• Ability to work in a busy 24-hour hospital environment.
• Commitment to patient welfare and client care.
• Willingness to work shifts, including out-of-hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across wards, consults, theatre and emergency cases.
• Support nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities.
• Monitor patients, manage admissions and discharges.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures, surgeries and emergency treatments.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
