A veterinary hospital in Worksop is seeking a Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse. The successful candidate will work shift patterns covering 8am to 8pm and will handle various responsibilities including dental assessments and client consultations. Location: Wildbore Vetstop Worksop
Hours: The shifts cover 8am - 8pm, with one full weekend and one Saturday over a rolling eight week rota.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a keen interest in primary care work to our team. You will work in all areas of the hospital with shifts in our wards, theatres and on nurse led procedures including dental assessments and CT. You will also work with clients where we offer an extensive range of nurse consultations.
We are a veterinary hospital based in Worksop, providing high standards of care where we offer fantastic 24-hour inpatient care with a dedicated night nurse team. We're also a friendly bunch of highly skilled professionals, who put the health and wellbeing of pets first.
We are a well-equipped practice with a comprehensive in-house lab, ultrasound machine, DR x-ray system, CT scanner, dedicated nurse consulting rooms and more. We are recognised by International Cat Care as a Gold Level Cat-Friendly Clinic for the special care and consideration we give to our feline patients by providing a separate cat waiting area, consulting rooms and wards.
We have a large Vet team with a variety of service and experience levels including certificate holders in medicine, surgery, feline medicine and more. We are supported by a wonderful front-of-house team. Retention and the well-being of our team is very important to us and we are delighted that some of our team members have been part of Wildbore Vetstop for over 25 years. We have a fantastic client base some of whom have been returning to us for many years.
Wildbore Vetstop are based in a perfect location with lots to enjoy in the great outdoors locally such as cycling, horse riding, walking and more. We are close to the peak district and Clumber park too. If you prefer to explore the local cities, Sheffield is on our doorstep with lots to offer day and night and Nottingham and Doncaster are also easily accessible. Leeds/Bradford and Doncaster/Sheffield airport are a short drive away.
