The role offers a varied mix of inpatient care, diagnostics, imaging and nurse clinics with a 40-hour week, with opportunities for development within our Nurse Academy and graduate pathways.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Wirral Vets on a full-time basis.

You'll be working alongside a knowledgeable and approachable team of 4 RVNs, 1 Student Nurse, 4 Vets and support staff who all value teamwork and patient outcomes.

Both Seaview and Upton are well-equipped with all the tools you'd expect, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, Imagist. Our location is another key benefit - based in the Wirral close to Liverpool and the beautiful coast just on our doorstep.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You'll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week but part-time applications are welcomed
• 4 days working 8:00am - 6:30pm alongside1:4 Saturdays

General Responsibilities

This is a varied and engaging nursing role in a busy first-opinion practice. You'll enjoy a balance of surgical nursing, inpatient care, diagnostics and imaging, consultations and nurse clinics. We aim to rotate duties to keep your day diverse and fulfilling.
