Job summary

Hampton Park Vets in Salisbury (with sites across Hampshire) is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a full-time role. You’ll deliver high-quality nursing care, support clients, and work closely with surgeons and the team in a well-equipped practice.

The role offers a varied nursing position within a supportive primary care environment, with opportunities for development through our Nurse Academy and opportunities to progress into leadership paths.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
  • Experience working in clinical practice with nursing and surgical care.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Hampton Vets on a full‑time basis.

Hampton Park Vets is a friendly group of small animal practices based in Salisbury and across Hampshire. Your primary base will be our Hampton Park Vets practice in Salisbury, with occasional work at our other nearby sites.

Salisbury offers the perfect balance of connectivity and countryside charm – with excellent transport links, easy access to Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, National Parks, and World Heritage Sites. You’ll also find plenty of scenic walking routes and a variety of independent shops to enjoy.

Our well‑equipped practice features modern facilities such as digital and dental x‑ray, ultrasound, full Idexx blood machines, separate dog and cat wards, a therapeutic laser, and much more – everything you need to provide outstanding care.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern
  • 40 hours per week; however, we are open to part‑time applications
  • Monday to Friday with shifts of either 8 am‑4 pm or 11 am‑7 pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturday rota from 9 am‑2 pm
  • No out‑of‑hours requirement
