Vets4Pets Nottingham Netherfield is seeking a newly qualified or experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, professional team. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with an equal share of Saturdays, within a modern, state‑of‑the‑art practice.

Our team consists of 1 Head RVN, 1 Practice Manager, 1 Practice Owner, 5 Vets, 4 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 2 VCAs and 3 Client Care Advisors. We’re hugely supportive of each other and take pride in the strong relationships we have built with our growing and loyal client base. As a team we get together regularly throughout the year, celebrating Christmas, Birthdays and sunny day trips in the summer.
Our practice is located on Victoria Retail Park, a busy shopping site, with great choices of cafes and restaurants. Not only is the practice easy access to Nottingham city centre, for those who like the buzz of the city, but also it is near to Trent Valley, for those who enjoy the peaceful countryside.
Our surgery is RCVS PSS accredited, ISFM cat friendly silver and RWA rabbit friendly silver awarded. We’re a nurse training practice who keep many of our students on and help support them throughout their careers.
We also have in house digital X‑RAY including dental, Ultrasound, capnography and ECG. Most medical investigations and surgeries are worked up in house by our experienced veterinary team that contains 2 certificate holders.
We’re looking for a newly qualified or experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who will build lasting relationships with both clients and pets and demonstrates genuine compassion and empathy in your interactions. You’ll help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You’ll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about, the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
This role will be working full time, 40 hours a week including an equal share of Saturdays when we are open 8:30 - 5:30. Your hours will be split across 4 full days and 1 half day during the week with a mixture of early and late shifts.
