Job summary

Woodland Vets in Liphook, part of inspiring vet care, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a 17-hour-per-week basis.

You'll deliver high-quality nursing care across nurse clinics, support in-house lab work, and help maintain a caring environment with our vets, VCA's and front of house. Join our Nurse Graduate Programme or Nurse Academy to grow within a supportive, values-led practice.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.
• Confidence in sole charge nursing.

Responsibilities

• Run a variety of nurse clinics, including laser therapy, wellness screenings, nail clips, anal gland expressions, microchipping, second vaccinations, and dietary consultations.
• Maintain the in-house laboratory and support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Woodland Vets, Liphook on a part-time basis.

Over our three sites we have all the usual equipment, including a digital x-ray, a dental X-ray, a multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, blood pressure, a microscope, in-house biochemistry and haematology blood machines, an ultrasound with cardiac and an abdominal probe, a laser, an ECG, an endoscope and a tonometer.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

Working Pattern

• 17 hours per week
• Tuesday & Wednesday 9:30 am - 4 pm, Thursday 8 am - 1 pm

General Responsibilities
