Job summary

Vets for Pets Spalding is seeking a qualified RVN to join our supportive practice. You’ll care for patients, support client relationships, and have opportunities to develop in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. We offer CPD support, a friendly team, and a structured environment aimed at high clinical standards.

We can consider full or part time hours; the surgery is open 9am–7pm with no weekends, bank holidays or OOH. Competitive salary up to £30,000 FTE, DOE, plus benefits.

• Qualified RVN with current registration and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Good general nursing experience and high patient care standards.
• Strong client service skills and cheerful, cooperative attitude.

The practice is in the lovely market town of Spalding, with good national and international transport links and the opportunity to establish a loyal, engaged client base quickly. You’ll be joining our Practice Owner who has 25 years industry experience and is passionate about Orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery.

About You

Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. We’re looking for a proactive, enthusiastic team player who is keen to work in a progressive, fast paced first opinion practice, with high clinical standards. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You’ll have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. Our team of RVNs are able to utilise their full range of skills and we actively encourage all our colleagues to develop their individual areas of clinical interests.

About The Role
