Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in the UK’s leading veterinary group is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Blenheim Veterinary Centre on a permanent basis. The role supports a flexible full- or part-time pattern within a busy first opinion practice, alongside an established nursing team.

You’ll deliver high quality nursing care, assist in surgery and care for inpatients, while contributing to client experience and clinical standards. Development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS is required.
• Ideally 2 years of clinical nursing experience in medical and surgical settings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Blenheim Veterinary Centre on a permanent basis. We are open to applications from candidates seeking full-time or part-time hours, with the opportunity to appoint two part-time RVNs whose combined hours cover the full-time requirement.

Following an exciting rebrand and continued investment in our practice, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team within a busy first opinion environment.

You’ll be working alongside an established nursing team of 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, including our Head Nurse, alongside 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and a Veterinary Care Assistant. We’re looking for someone who enjoys a varied caseload, works well as part of a team and is passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• Full-time hours of 37.5 to 40 hours per week, part-time applications considered
• Shifts between 8:00am and 6:30pm
• Saturday shifts are 8:30am to 12:30pm paid as overtime, typically 1 in 7
• No out-of-hours requirement
