Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at Fivelands Veterinary Centre in Moseley near Birmingham. The role offers both full-time and part-time hours with shifts up to 40 hours per week and 1:4 Saturdays.

You will work with a collaborative clinical team delivering high-quality nursing care across first opinion cases. You will run nurse clinics, provide inpatient care, monitor anaesthesia, and support surgical procedures while promoting excellent client

Qualifications

• RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse is required.
• Experience in clinical practice with nursing and surgical care.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Fivelands Veterinary Centre on both a full and part-time basis.

We are a friendly team and there are 12 RVNs/ TVNs/VCAs across 3 sites, in our 9 vet practice.The role is based at our main branch in the lively village of Moseley near Birmingham city centre.

We are an ISFM silver status practice, and have vets with certificates in Feline Medicine, and in Dentistry, and also vets studying for certificates in cardiology and surgery, and a visiting surgery certificate holder. We provide referral level abdominal & cardiac ultrasound.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• Full-time and part-time hours, up to 40 hours per week
• Shift pattern will vary between 8:00am - 7:30pm. Part-time hours will be worked on Thursdays and Fridays
• 1:4 Saturdays
