A veterinary practice in Barnstaple is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This full-time role involves performing nurse consultations, assisting veterinarians, and providing care for both medical and surgical patients. The ideal candidate will have a registered veterinary nurse qualification and should be dedicated to delivering high clinical standards. The position includes weekends on a rota basis and offers numerous benefits like generous annual leave, CPD opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
Here at Charter Veterinary Hospital Roundswell we are excited to recruit a Registered Veterinary nurse to join our team. We are a 3 site practice including a Hospital with our own OOH service.
We pride our practice in the use and success of our nurses and patient care assistants. Duties include; nurse consultations, assisting vets in consult, dispensary and reception, pre-anaesthetic preparation and theatre, ward shifts caring for medical and surgical patients, laboratory work and much more.
This position is full time and will include Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis. A clinical coach would be preferable but not essential. Transportation is a must as occasional cover may be required at the Mullacott or Bridgehouse site.
The salary is up to £30k depending on experience.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced registered veterinary nurse who is dedicated to working to a high clinical standard. You will be confident in all general nursing duties and be able to work as a team.
