Registered Vet Nurse - Up to £37,000 - Friern Barnet, London

Are you an experienced RVN with a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of nurses? Do you want to be part of a friendly and dynamic team where you can continue to grow and develop your skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Our small animal practice in Friern Barnet (North West London) is looking for a skilled RVN to join our team. We pride ourselves on maintaining high clinical standards and providing exceptional pet care. If you enjoy running nurse clinics and performing dental scale and polish procedures, this is the practice for you!

We are seeking an experienced RVN with excellent communication skills and confidence in all areas of general nursing. Ideally, we want a clinical coach who can share their knowledge and experience with our future vet nurses.

This is a full-time role with 40 hours per week, but we are open to part-time arrangements and can tailor the hours to suit you. There is a one-in-three Saturday rota with time off in lieu, and no out-of-hours work, ensuring a fantastic work / life balance.

Our team has grown significantly over the past two years. Practice owners Roger and Jonathan bring over 30 years of experience, alongside a highly experienced head nurse with 15 years in various practices. We have a vet pursuing a cardiology certificate, two recent graduates in a new graduate program, an SVN nearing the end of her training, and two VCAs preparing for their nursing training.

At Friern Barnet, our purpose-built surgery features state-of-the-art equipment, including a full in-house lab, ultrasound facilities, digital x-ray machines, and species-specific kennel areas. We are excited about our upcoming rebrand later this year. Conveniently located on Friern Bridge Retail Park, we offer ample onsite parking and excellent public transport links to London and the South East.
