REGISTERED SERVICE MANAGER

Position: Registered Service Manager
Salary: £34,431.79 + £250 per month Registered Manager payment (approx. £3,000 per annum)
Location: Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: Permanent

P4 Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a leading social care organisation to appoint an experienced Registered Service Manager for a well‑established service in Liverpool.

This is a confidential recruitment due to the nature of the current service structure and internal planning.

The Role

As the Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing strong, visible leadership while ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person‑centred care. You will oversee day‑to‑day operational management, create a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and ensure that all services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading, supporting and developing your staff team
  • Overseeing recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management
  • Budget management and financial oversight
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC and safeguarding legislation
  • Acting as the CQC Registered Manager
  • Driving quality assurance and improvement plans
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Promoting the rights, dignity and independence of the people supported
What You Will Bring
  • Proven leadership experience within social care
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (or equivalent) / RMA
  • Strong understanding of CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs)
  • Experience managing budgets and financial processes
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems
  • Flexibility to support the service including evenings, weekends and on‑call duties when required
