Registered Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Service Manager to oversee the operation and performance of five children's residential homes across Staffordshire. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring each home provides a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment where children can thrive.

The successful candidate will be an inspiring leader, an effective manager of people and resources, and a committed champion for children's outcomes. You'll work closely with Home Managers to drive excellence in care delivery, compliance, and development across all services.

Key Responsibilities as a Registered Service Manager
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across five Ofsted-registered children's homes.
  • Ensure all homes consistently achieve 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Registered Managers, promoting a culture of accountability, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee safeguarding, quality assurance, and compliance in line with Ofsted regulations, the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities, social workers, and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Monitor budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to ensure high-quality service delivery within financial parameters.
  • Drive service development initiatives, ensuring innovation and best practice are embedded across all homes.
  • Act as a senior point of escalation for safeguarding or operational issues.
