Service

Our service now includes admission and recovery of elective patients and a continued emergency service for the Trust. The team works 24/7, 365 days a year. As part of a rotation with other team members, you will be expected to work evenings, nights, on calls, bank holidays, and weekends.

This role is within Theatres and will be rotated across all theatre areas, including the QE2, to assist and care for patients undergoing elective surgeries (Vascular, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Plastics, Robotics, ENT, Oral Surgery, Ophthalmology, General Surgery) and emergency procedures.

Selection Process

Candidates will be invited to an interview and a practical element that tests theatre knowledge and practice.

Temporary Position

Where advertised as temporary, the duration will be specified. If the role becomes permanent, the successful applicant may be slotted in without re-applying.
