A healthcare provider in Hertfordshire is seeking active staff for theatre roles involving patient care during elective and emergency surgeries. Candidates will prepare surgical environments, assist with patient positioning, and ensure the safe use of equipment. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends. The role emphasizes teamwork and safety, suited for those committed to outstanding care.

Our service now includes admission and recovery of elective patients and a continued emergency service for the Trust. The team works 24/7, 365 days a year. As part of a rotation with other team members, you will be expected to work evenings, nights, on calls, bank holidays, and weekends.
This role is within Theatres and will be rotated across all theatre areas, including the QE2, to assist and care for patients undergoing elective surgeries (Vascular, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Plastics, Robotics, ENT, Oral Surgery, Ophthalmology, General Surgery) and emergency procedures.
Candidates will be invited to an interview and a practical element that tests theatre knowledge and practice.
