Registered Practitioner, Maternity Cover Contract

Working within a CQC Outstanding rated hospital, The Horder Centre is looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner to join their fantastic Day Services and Pre-Assessment Unit team. Joining a wonderful team of experienced and empathetic nurses, you will be driven by motivation and pride to provide outstanding care to all of our valued patients.

Main duties of the job

Based from The Horder Centre, Crowborough, this is a Maternity Cover role that will require full-time responsibilities. Shifts are worked over a4 to 5 day week, with a 1 in 5 Saturday and department closure on Sunday.

Job responsibilities

Location: The Horder Centre, Crowborough

Contract Type: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (4-5 days per week)

  • RGN / NMC registered
  • Prior UK based experience.

  • Recent experience within a surgical or pre-assessment hospital unit.
  • Personal and approachable, with a real motivation to help uphold the outstanding rating proudly held by The Horder Centre.
  • Excellent communication skills, to help build those all-important and respected relationships with our patients and your direct and wider teams.
  • Proactive and forward thinking, with a passion for continued learning.
