Job summary

Would you like to be part of a team dedicated to improving care and treatment outcomes for a wide range of patients, while continuing to develop specialist skills in wound care? We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Wound Healing Service:

Position Details
  • 1.0 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) post based within the community setting
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver advanced wound healing interventions in clinic, community, or residential settings.
  • Provide evidence‑based wound care and advice to patients attending the service.
  • Support learners and visitors in clinic settings.
  • Take charge of the working area in the absence of the wound care sister, with support from senior staff.
  • Develop individualised care plans in partnership with patients, identifying healing potential and MDT involvement.
Eligibility & Requirements
  • Current, valid UK NMC registration.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for the role).
  • Must provide an immunisation and vaccination report from a UK occupational health provider or GP.
  • Applicants required to undertake the OSCE training programme will not be considered.
