Bath Clinic, part of Circle Health Group, is hiring a Registered Nurse (Wards) for bank shifts in Bath. The role involves delivering direct nursing care, assessing patient needs, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications under NMC guidelines.

You will support staff during busy periods and cover for annual leave, working on wards with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and effectively per hospital policies and the NMC Code.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation including assessments and care plans.
• Ensure care complies with NMC standards and hospital policies.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns and risks.

Up to £18.82 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualifications)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our friendly and motivated team of staff working on the hospital Wards.

This is a bank role working on an \"as and when required\" basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Monitor vital signs, recognise changes in condition, and escalated appropriately using clinical judgement.
• Administer medications safely and effectively in accordance with hospital policies and the NMC Code.
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations.
• Ensure that all care provided complies with NMC standards, clinical governance requirements, and hospital policies.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records, documentation, and care planning.
• Previous experience in a relevant specialty desirable (e.g., surgical, medical, outpatient, orthopaedics, critical care).
