Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift on our Surgical Unit in Grand Junction, Colorado. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with a collaborative, evidence‑based approach and strong commitment to safety and quality.
The role emphasizes professional development, teamwork, and patient‑centered care in a supportive environment, with ongoing learning and mentorship. Magna cum laude standards are applied for licensure and BSN expectations.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.
The Surgical Unit provides care for a diverse population of medical and surgical patients, including those recovering from general, trauma, orthopedic, bariatric, gastrointestinal, urology, ENT, and joint replacement procedures. We also care for patients with complex medical conditions spanning multiple organ systems and diagnoses. Our team is known for its strong culture of collaboration, teamwork, and patient-centered care, with a shared commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to every patient.
