Job summary

Barchester Healthcare in the UK is seeking a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) for a casual, part-time bank role at our care home. You’ll apply your compassion and RMN expertise to support a multi-disciplinary team and deliver person-centred care to residents.

You’ll settle new residents, develop tailored care plans, perform clinical tasks, and contribute to training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and up-to-date clinical practices
• Experience producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines

About the Role

This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) at a Barchester care home, you’ll use your compassion and experience to help deliver the exceptional levels of care and support we’re known for. We’ll look to you to provide our multi‑disciplinary team with in‑depth expertise on mental health to make sure our residents get the most out of life. You’ll ensure each person’s needs are met and that they’re always treated with dignity and respect. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from making sure a new resident is settling in and developing tailored care plans to carrying out a variety of clinical tasks. About You

To join us as a Registered Nurse (RMN), you’ll need to have current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up‑to‑date clinical practices, particularly in relation to dementia. Experience of producing well‑developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important, as is an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. Dedicated and compassionate, you’ll pride yourself on your person‑centred, thoughtful approach to nursing.
