We Are Hiring: Registered Nurse (RGN)

Location: EH34

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting a Registered Nurse (RGN) for a reputable care home committed to delivering the highest standards of care for its residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver quality nursing care that meets residents’ needs and complies with all regulatory requirements.
  2. Prepare, implement, and monitor residents’ care plans, ensuring care is person-centred and of high quality.
  3. Assist in maintaining staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels and compliance with legislation.
  4. Maintain and monitor high standards of clinical care in line with best practices and organisational policies.
  5. Support recruitment, supervision, and development of staff to build a skilled and compassionate care team.
  6. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, health assessments, and communicate outcomes effectively.
  7. Conduct and review quality and risk assessments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  8. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners, addressing any service issues promptly.
  9. Keep clinical skills and knowledge up to date through continuous professional development.
  10. Contribute to organisational projects and initiatives that align with our values and objectives.
Qualifications
  1. Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC Register
  2. IELTS 7.0 in all four components (if English is not your first language)
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience Required
  1. Proven experience in a clinical nursing role
  2. Relevant experience in the care of older people within a residential or care home setting
  3. Experience supervising or mentoring clinical staff
  4. Working knowledge of current care legislation and standards
