Job description
Overview

The Acute Medical Unit at Harrogate Hospital has recently moved to a bigger area and will soon be opening a new Medically Enhanced Care Unit. This is an exciting time to join our team as we continue to develop our skills, and grow our workforce in preparation for this move.

If you are a registered nurse who enjoys a challenge and thrives in an environment in which you are always learning and growing as a nurse then we want to hear from you. As a registered nurse on AMU, you would be supported by the senior team to manage your own case load of patients, admitted from the GP, the Emergency Department, through the Acute Referral Line and from other places within the trust.

On AMU we care for patients who are reviewed by a consultant, given a treatment plan and discharged, kept in a short stay bed or admitted to a longer stay specialty bed.
