Position: Registered Nurse - Addiction/Rehabilitation

Location: Oasis Recovery Communities, Bradford

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum

Shifts: 12.5 hours on a rotating shift pattern which involves days and nights.

Week 1: Mon Tues, Sat Sun

Week 2: Weds Thurs Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to NMC guidelines and the code of conduct at all times
  • Assist the Centre Manager and Lead Nurse with the clinic’s action plan development and execution
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to formulate and deliver comprehensive recovery plans
  • Ensure that accommodation, including catering, maintenance, and cleanliness, meets high standards
  • Conduct nurse inductions and provide guidance to new team members
  • Perform client assessments, including triage, risk management, and comprehensive evaluations
  • Administer medications and monitor client responses, reporting any concerns to the medical team
  • Provide direct clinical care, develop treatment plans, and support clients through detoxification programmes
  • Respond to clinical and medical emergencies as a first responder
  • Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date client records, including case notes and statutory records
  • Participate in clinical audits, service reviews, and service user satisfaction evaluations
  • Supervise junior staff and volunteers as needed
What We’re Looking For:
  • A current, UK recognised nursing qualification – RMN, RGN, or equivalent.
  • Registered Nurse Mental Health or Registered Nurse General (NMC Registration and active PIN).
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering clinical interventions in the substance misuse field within a clear philosophical/theoretical framework.
  • Experience of supervising the clinical casework of professionally qualified staff working in the alcohol and drug field.
  • Experience of undertaking comprehensive screening, clinical assessments, clinical audits and formulating recovery plans.
  • Experience of managing a caseload of clients being prescribed substitute medication.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining successful partnerships with GPs, treatment agencies and other healthcare providers.
  • Proven track record in managing incidents of challenging behaviour.
  • Experience of keeping accurate and up‑to‑date client/customer records for monitoring purposes
  • Knowledge of NICE guidelines, DANOS and Models of Care Frameworks.
  • Knowledge of substance misuse evidence based practice and treatment interventions.
  • Computer literacy and IT experience in relation to managing own administration, monitoring and clinical activity data reporting.
  • Excellent case management skills, with experience in undertaking assessment, care‑planning and treatment reviews.
