Experience in nursing homes is essential. Proficiency in PCS system, medication management, strong leadership skills, and a good understanding of dementia and complex care are required.

Other skills required:

We look for strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and care planning skills.

Syringe driver experience, catheterisation, blood tests, PEG feeding, stoma care, and a good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty are also essential.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Medication administration and care planning

• Taking responsibility during shifts as Nurse in Charge

• Liaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams
• Upholding clinical governance standards

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting residents with mobility.

Additional skills required:

• Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and care planning skills.
