We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate, patient-focused Band 5 Registered Nurse to join Minster Ward within the Planned Care and Surgery Division at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust. Minster Ward is a busy, friendly and forward-thinking unit providing high-quality pre- and post-operative care to inpatients, day-case surgical and medical day-case patients across a diverse range of specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, ENT and Ophthalmology. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and compassionate care, ensuring every patient is treated with dignity, kindness and respect. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development, including involvement in nurse-led discharge pathways, service improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities. You will be encouraged to actively contribute to a positive learning environment, supporting students, newly qualified nurses and new starters, while acting as a positive role model for high standards of care and professional behaviour.
