Job description
Overview

The role of nurse at Band 5 is to assist the Ward Manager in delivering the day‑to‑day running of the service, ensuring the ethos remains conducive to patient care. The post‑holder will take charge of the clinical and nursing management of the ward in the absence of more senior staff and will cover for the Ward Manager on an occasional basis, fostering harmonious working relationships within the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Cover for the Ward Manager on an occasional basis.

  • Registered nurse at Band 5.

  • Good communication skills in English; Welsh language skills are desirable.
