Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Medical Assessment Unit. MAU is a fast‑paced, developing area and we are now recruiting experienced Band 5 Registered Nurses who are ready for a new challenge.

We will offer a thorough induction package where the opportunity to enhance your clinical skills such as venepuncture, cannulations and ECGs will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and initiate a treatment plan.
  • Manage deteriorating patients and assist with patient flow through completing timely discharges and transfers to ward areas.
  • Provide quality patient care as a priority at all times.
Qualifications
  • Band 5 Registered Nurse with clinical experience.
  • Organised, resilient and adaptable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient care and the values of Compassion, Openness and Excellence.
