Job summary

Welford Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) for Hamble Heights Care Home in Southampton. The role is part-time BANK hours, focusing on leading a care team and delivering high-quality nursing for residents with long-term needs.

Training and ongoing development are provided to support career progression. Candidates must hold valid RGN NMC Registration, have at least 1 year of nursing experience, and demonstrate knowledge of CQC standards.

Qualifications

• Valid RGN NMC Registration.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong leadership and clinical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality nursing care to residents.
• Carry out clinical assessments and plan/monitor care.
• Lead and support the care team within the home.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate with carers and professionals.
• Liaise with GPs and health practitioners to ensure residents' needs are met.
• Utilise IT systems for resident and workforce data.
