Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Guildford is recruiting clinicians to become Functional Assessors for PIP or ESA. The role involves completing assessments, preparing detailed reports, and supporting decision-makers at the DWP. A minimum of one year post-qualification experience and UK regulatory registration are required.

The position is full-time, hybrid (office and home), with a 9–5 schedule, 25 days annual leave, and additional benefits including a pension and bonus schemes.

Qualifications

• One year post-registration experience as a nurse, OT or physiotherapist.
• Fully registered with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other) with a valid PIN.
• Excellent observational and communication skills.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.

We are seeking applications from clinicians with a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience and registration in the UK. In this role you will grow your medical knowledge of a wide variety of medical, cognitive and mental health conditions.

The role is full time Monday to Friday 9 – 5 and offers a salary of £40,000 (PIP) - £42,000 (WCA) per annum plus

• £1000 salary uplift after your first 6 months (PIP only) and a further £1000 salary uplift after 12 months (PIP and WCA)
• Work-life balance: 9am – 5pm contracts with no nights, weekends of shifts required.

You will undertake a combination of file-work, face-to-face and telephone/video assessments with customers in relation to PIP OR ESA benefits and provide comprehensive reports to enable decision makers at DWP to make informed decisions regarding benefit claims. Such assessments focus on how a disability affects a customer’s day to day life and performing work related activities.

Comprehensive training will provide you will the skills to support customers and transfer your current skills and knowledge to the level required for the role. You will have ongoing CPD, with over 100 hours CPD protected per annum, support with revalidation and the opportunity to develop your career within the organisation.

Requirements

• one year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist
• fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN
• excellent observational and communication skills, giving you the ability to listen, empathise and dig deeper
• the ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute.
