Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Perth & Kinross Integrated Drugs & Alcohol Recovery Team. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients with drug and/or alcohol problems, and participate in the delivery and administration of buvidal and other treatments.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with social work, primary care and partner agencies, using motivational strategies to support recovery and deliver patient-centred care in a Tier

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration to practise in the UK.
• Experience in drug and alcohol care is desirable.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and with partners.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients with drug/alcohol issues.
• Deliver and administer buvidal and other treatments as required.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and liaise with social work, primary care and partner agencies.
• Utilise motivational strategies to support patient recovery and safety.
