Orchard Healthcare Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Reconnect Community in Greater Manchester. You will lead a team delivering dementia care focused on independence, meaningful living, and person-centred planning.

In this role you will develop care plans, supervise staff, liaise with families, and promote non-pharmacological approaches to distress. The position offers competitive hourly pay of £23.53 per hour and opportunities for professional development.

Formación

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration and current license.
• Experience in dementia care and person-centred planning.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and clinical governance.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Coaching and staff development skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
• Lead the care team in delivering meaningful, empathetic support.
• Promote independence, choice, and positive engagement.
• Liaise with families, external professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Reduce reliance on psychotropic medication through non-pharmacological interventions.
• Support best interest decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act.
• Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and coaching care staff.
• Ensure compliance with NMC standards and Orchard policies.
