Job summary

A community healthcare provider in Tees Valley is searching for a Registered Nurse to join their team. In this role, you will provide various nursing services, including triage and wound care, in a supportive environment. The position offers access to NHS Pension and diverse training opportunities. Registered Nurse (DART) - HMP Holme House + £1500 welcome payment

Are you a dedicated RGN looking for a new challenge within a diverse, community setting? Do you want to combine your primary care, acute and emergency nursing skills all in one place and keep your NHS Pension? Working in secure healthcare will bring new challenges. The days are varied and there is a wide range of training and development opportunities. You will be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team delivering primary care, mental health, and substance misuse services to our patients.

The welcome payment is payable to new candidates joining Spectrum Community Health CIC.

There is also opportunity to access a relocation package of up to £8,000

The role includes nurse led clinics, administering medication and treatments, emergency response, triage, wound care, examinations, and referrals. No two days are the same working in our friendly and supportive team. You must have sound nursing knowledge, lots of valuable experience and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Education and Training
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 - Adult /General/Mental Health
  • Mentorship / supervision/teaching / assessing experience/ training
  • Experience of Drug and Alcohol Services
  • RCGP 1 Qualification
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of current healthcare issues.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance audit, risk management and quality agenda
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
  • Competent in clinical practice e.g., phlebotomy, ECG monitoring
  • Worked in a complex environment managing deteriorating patients
  • Experience of working within a Health & Justice environment.
