Responsibilities
  • You will provide a high‑quality service of care to patients and significant others and to promote a good learning environment, supporting the Senior Nurse for Chemotherapy Services in all aspects of that role, as well as the other members of the team.
  • You will be aware of resource management and to provide effective links within the Trust and undertake and assist in the safe administration of cytotoxic chemotherapy, monoclonal anti‑bodies within the Oncology/Hematology client group, whilst also providing on‑going support to patients and their carers.
  • You will ensure that nursing care within the chemotherapy unit is a high standard and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures and standards and adheres to the unit’s philosophy.
  • You will contribute to the improvement of services.

  • High‑Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,552 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata.
