An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Band 5 Registered Nurses with relevant post registration experience to join our team on the Cardiac Care Unit at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
The Cardiac Care Unit cares for patients with a variety of Acute Cardiac conditions, including provision of Non‑invasive ventilation such as CPAP and High Flow Nasal oxygen.
The unit has the ability to perform procedures such as insertion of temporary pacing wires, trans‑oesophageal echoes, pericardiocentesis and cardioversions.
You should have good interpersonal skills, strong leadership, innovative ideas and a positive approach to change management. Band 5 Registered Nurses with relevant post registration experience.
We operate from three main hospitals – Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal – as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
