Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Goring Hall Hospital in West Sussex is seeking a Registered Nurse (Adult) to join their bank team on an as-needed basis. You will deliver direct nursing care, assess patient needs, and maintain documentation.

This bank position offers flexibility to cover busy periods and annual leave, with a competitive hourly rate up to £16.60 depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and carers, providing information, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Support patients in understanding their condition, treatments, and recovery processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe, and efficient care.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.

Salary: Up to £16.60 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their team of staff.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
