Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd is seeking a Bank Nurse to deliver high-quality clinical care for residents at Benton House, DN11 0NQ. You will work in a busy, varied setting, maintaining privacy and independence for residents and upholding the NMC Code of Conduct.

The role offers opportunities to administer medications, monitor blood sugar, and provide detailed handovers while collaborating with a dedicated management team to ensure person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration (PIN) and right to work in the UK are required.
• Experience in nursing care and a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work autonomously within a team and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' health indicators, including blood sugar levels.
• Administer medications and ensure accurate handovers to the next shift.
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with the NMC Code of Conduct.
• Support residents in decision making and maintain dignity, privacy and independence.
• Provide end-of-life care with compassion within a supportive team.

As aRegistered Nurse, you will ensure that thehighest standard of clinical careis delivered to residents at all times, within company policies and procedures and the NMC Code of Conduct, promoting each person’sprivacy, dignity and independence.

This is abusy, varied and rewarding rolewhich will give you theautonomyto care for our residents, whether you are monitoring aresident’s blood sugar levels,administering medication, giving a detailedhandoverto the team on the next shift, or assisting a resident at the end of their life. You will be fully supported and be working in a fantastic team.

You will work with themanagement teamand other trained nurses inassessing, planning,implementingandevaluatingquality nursing care. It will be important to you that the residents are enabled tofully participate in decisions affecting their lives, embracing the philosophy ofperson-centred care,to ensure all options are explored to have theresidents’ decisions and choices met.
