Job summary

Care UK in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to step into a Nurse Manager role, providing leadership across the home and ensuring the highest standards of care. You will mentor staff, monitor clinical governance, and actively drive person-centred care.

You will oversee clinical nursing such as medication management, infection control, and wound care while developing tailored care plans for residents with complex needs.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with current pin.
• Familiar with Waterlow and MUST assessment tools.
• Experience writing comprehensive care plans.

The Role

• Providing outstanding leadership for care staff
• Supporting residents with a range of complex needs and dependency levels
• Provide clinical nursing to residents including medication management, infection prevention and control procedures, e.g. wound care, catheter management
• Continuously strive towards ensuring clinical excellence within the home
