About the Role

InHealth is proud to launch a brand new Endoscopy service in Yeovil. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with endoscopy experience to join our growing team and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care across our mobile Endoscopy sites.

Key Details
  • Location: Yeovil District Hospital, Higher Kingston, Yeovil, BA21 4AT
  • Position: Registered Nurse Endoscopy
  • Hours: Full Time, 4 days a week, 8am–6pm, with flexible shifts
  • Weekend Enhancement: £10/hour (up to £50/day)
  • Service Launch: January 2026
Responsibilities
  • Supporting patients before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Planning and delivering personalised care programmes to ensure high standards of care
  • Assisting senior clinical staff and supervising other team members
  • Managing the decontamination and traceability of endoscopes and specialised equipment
  • Participating in clinical audits and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team
Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin – endoscopy experience desirable but not essential
  • Experience working in endoscopy or a related clinical setting
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a great listening ability
  • Strong time‑management and organisational skills
