Job Overview
As a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin, you will manage the unit alongside clinical duties in the home. Your responsibilities include oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team while delivering best practice continually.
Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents and ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
- Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
- Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualized care plans for each resident.
- Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation.
- Providing clinical guidance to care teams and assisting with all CQC tasks.
- Building connections with residents and their families, offering kindness, support and care.
- Effectively communicating and reporting clinical issues to other team members and healthcare professionals.
- When working at night, applying strong critical thinking skills, remaining calm in emergency situations and managing care staff independently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard.
- Confidence in offering clinical guidance for care teams.
- Valid NMC pin and registered nurse status.
- Strong communication, reporting and critical thinking skills.
Salary & Contract
£20.53 - £22.68 Per Hour | Contract – 3x 12 Hour Nights Per week – 36 Hours Contract. Paid breaks & £1,000 Welcome Bonus.
