Overview

Position Details

Permanent, full‑time Registered Nurse position located in Chorleywood (WD3 5TQ). Salary: £22.50 – £23.30 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Act as person in charge and stand in for the Manager as required, observing all instructions and acting on behalf of the manager.
  • Ensure high standards of care for residents, undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advise families and GPs of changes in resident condition and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Deploy, supervise and support the care team to guarantee all duties are completed and residents receive the required care.
  • Provide accurate assessment, planning and ongoing review to support resident care plans.
Shift Details

7am – 7pm and 7pm – 7am (24‑hour coverage).

Qualifications
  • First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience and up‑to‑date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post‑basic studies or qualifications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
  • Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
