Registered Nurse Endoscopy

Location: 5 Foundry Row, Redruth, TR15 1AN

Contract Options:

  • Full‑Time Contract – 37.5 hrs/week, 4 days, 8am‑6pm, flexible Monday‑Sunday
  • Fixed‑Term Contract – covering maternity leave until April 2026
  • Part‑Time Contract – 28.5 hrs/week, 3 days, 8am‑6pm, flexible Monday‑Sunday

About the Service

We are launching a brand new static Endoscopy service in Cornwall, opening December 2025. This role supports patients before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centred care.

Main Duties
  • Support patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, tailored care
  • Supervise and guide clinical staff, including registered and unregistered members
  • Manage endoscope decontamination and equipment care
  • Participate in clinical audits and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider clinical team
Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin
  • Endoscopy experience (essential)
  • Team‑player, positivity, supportive, reliable
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing situations
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, listening
  • Excellent time and workload management
