Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Registered Nurse for Sidmouth Community Hospital. You will deliver safe, compassionate, person-centred care and work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.

You will monitor patients, administer medications safely and contribute to effective discharge planning, ensuring documentation is accurate and care is coordinated to support patient recovery.

As a Band 5 Registered Nurse at Sidmouth Community Hospital, you will provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients requiring medical care, rehabilitation and recovery. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, monitor patients conditions, administer medication safely and recognise and recognise clinical concerns promptly. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, you will promote patient independence, support effective discharge planning, maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to a positive patient experience. You will also work alongside Healthcare Support Workers, providing appropriate guidance and delegation to ensure safe, effective care and maintain the highest standards of patient safety and professional practice.
