Main duties of the job

As a Nights Registered Nurse at HC‑One you will build on your existing skill set, practising in a nurse‑led environment and developing complex decision‑making and collaborative skills. You will be a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months’ experience in Health or Social Care, a valid NMC PIN, and an understanding of your commitment through the NMC standards of practice.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide person‑centred care, guiding residents when they feel most vulnerable.
  • Adopt a nurse‑led approach, making complex decisions and collaborating with the team.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues; act as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
  • Maintain effective verbal and written communication, role‑modeling professional behaviour.
  • Advocate and deliver a person‑centred approach to care for residents and their families.
