Fresenius Medical Care is the world’s largest provider of dialysis products and services, and this Registered Nurse – Renal Dialysis Unit role is based in Macclesfield. You will work as an NMC-registered nurse, delivering holistic care to dialysis patients while developing specialist renal skills.

The unit operates 12 haemodialysis stations with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, offering 37.5 hours per week across shifts from 6.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nurse with General/Learning Disability/Mental Health background.
• Renal dialysis nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn specialist renal dialysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate care for dialysis patients.
• Provide holistic care while managing technical nursing tasks.

Registered Nurse - Renal Dialysis Unit

Are you an NMC Registered Nurse(General/Learning Disability/Mental Health) seeking an exciting new opportunity to learn specialist skills in renal dialysis nursing? What does the role involve?

Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care. You will be working autonomously, responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.

East Cheshire Dialysis Unit operates 12 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 12 patients, in partnership with Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Trust using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio of 1:4 patients.

This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts Monday to Saturday between 6.30am to 6.00pm.
